De Joyor X5S is gebouwd voor wie meer wil dan een standaard stadsstep. De 500 watt-motor levert vlotte acceleratie en de topsnelheid van circa 25 km/u past bij dagelijks pendelen. Het frame is steviger uitgevoerd dan bij de X1 en weegt daardoor zo'n 15 kg — nog altijd goed te tillen, maar met merkbaar meer rust op klinkers en slechter wegdek. De werkelijke actieradius hangt af van gewicht, tempo en terrein. Een degelijke sportieve forens-step met de afwerking waar Joyor om bekendstaat.
