James P.Manchester · Segway-Ninebot E25E
Ordered after a quick call about the legal rules for riding here, and they gave honest advice rather than a hard sell. Arrived within a couple of days, well packed and nearly fully charged. In daily use I comfortably reach my 12 km commute on a single charge. Smooth experience overall.
Sophie L.Bristol · Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5
I booked a test ride first and that sealed it. It feels more stable than I expected and the braking is reassuring. The stated range is roughly accurate for me, around 30 km in town. Folding is quick so it fits on the train. The staff explained maintenance clearly without rushing me.
Liam O.Dublin · Joyor S5
Good scooter for the price and the instalment option made it doable. Delivery took a day longer than expected, but the email update was clear about it. The speed is limited as it should be, so no surprises. On a full battery it handles my ride to work and back without issue.
Emma C.Edinburgh · Segway-Ninebot C20
As a first scooter I chose a lighter model on the advice of the team, and I appreciated that they thought along instead of pushing the priciest one. It is light enough to carry up to my flat. The battery holds up well for short city trips. They were clear about where you can and cannot ride.
Oliver T.Leeds · Navee V25
The order went smoothly and the tracking was accurate to the hour. Before buying they were honest about which models meet the local approval rules, which guided my choice. It rides nicely on the cycle paths here and the brakes feel safe in the rain. Just right for the daily shop run.
Grace M.London · Denver SCK5500
A solid entry-level scooter and the test ride helped me decide. The real-world range is a little shorter than on paper once it gets cold, but for my trips of a few kilometres it is plenty. Customer service replied quickly to a question about the charger. Setting up the instalments was easy.
Harry W.Birmingham · VMAX VX2
I got a clear explanation of the regulations before ordering, so I knew where I stood for road use. The scooter arrived quickly and worked straight away. The stated speed and range line up fairly well with what I get. Sturdily built, and it was good to be able to try one out first.
Chloe D.Glasgow · Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Pro
I was torn between two models and the staff genuinely took their time. I went for the Pro for the longer range and it delivers: my 20 km round trip is no problem. Delivery landed on the agreed day. The option to pay in instalments made the decision a lot easier for me.
Noah F.Sheffield · Joyor G5
Dependable scooter for commuting. Delivery was prompt and it was well packaged. In practice I do not quite hit the maximum range, but that also depends on wind and my weight. Support was friendly when I called about tyre pressure. All in all a satisfied buyer and I would order here again.
Amelia R.Cardiff · Segway-Ninebot Zing C15
This was for my son and the shop honestly recommended a youth model suited to his age. Quick delivery and clear guidance on safe use included. He rides it around the neighbourhood every day and the battery easily lasts an afternoon. Nice to see them advise rather than just sell anything.

Looking to buy an electric scooter? MoveVolt is the place to shop e-scooters online, with 130 models in stock from €129 to €1,299. Whether you want the best electric scooter for the city, a powerful long-range scooter or a safe kids' scooter, you can compare brand, speed, range and price in one overview. Important and honest: of our 130 scooters, 62 are RDW-approved and therefore road-legal in the Netherlands; the others are intended for private property only. So you know exactly where you stand before you buy.

Buy an electric scooter: why choose MoveVolt

To buy an electric scooter is to invest in smart, fast and affordable transport. At MoveVolt you choose from 130 e-scooters by top brands such as Segway-Ninebot (40 models), Xiaomi, Joyor, VMAX and Denver. We offer both the cheap electric scooter from €129 and the fast electric scooter with top speeds up to 60 km/h and a range up to 85 km. For every model we honestly show the specs: speed, range, motor power, weight and whether the scooter is RDW-approved.

RDW-approved scooter and the law: when is it legal on the road?

Want a legal electric scooter or a licensed scooter? In the Netherlands you may only ride an RDW-approved scooter on public roads; these are almost always capped at 25 km/h. Of our collection, 62 models are RDW-approved — more than half. The rest are not road-legal and are intended for private property only. We clearly mark every RDW-approved scooter with a badge, so you never accidentally buy a scooter you can't legally ride.

The best electric scooter for each use

There is no single best electric scooter — it depends on how you ride. For commuting in the city, pick a lightweight city e-scooter (44 models, from €499). Want power and range? Look at the powerful electric scooters (35 models, from €279, up to 85 km range). Small budget? The budget category starts at just €129. And for the kids we have 14 safe, speed-limited children's scooters from €139.
